Officer Bob Wilkins is a CRIME PREVENTION OFFICER for the
PLANTATION POLICE DEPARTMENT.
Officer Wilkins has been a Law Enforcement Officer for over 30 years. His
Law Enforcement experience includes serving in the U.S. Army Military
Police Corps, a Police Officer and Patrol Supervisor in the State of
Kansas, and has been proudly serving the community of Plantation since
1996.
Officer Wilkins is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with ASIS
International, a certified Crime Prevention Practitioner, and a certified
Advanced CPTED Practitioner through the Florida Attorney General’s
Office, the American Crime Prevention Institute, and the National Crime
Prevention Institute.
Officer Wilkins has an Associate of Arts Degree in Law Enforcement, a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management and a Masters of Arts degree in
Organizational Management.
Officer Wilkins’ areas of expertise include; CPTED Vulnerability/Risk
Assessment surveys for residential & business security, Fraud & Identity
Theft prevention, Robbery prevention, Personal Safety, Senior & Youth
crime prevention, Workplace Violence & Crime prevention, and
Community crime prevention programs.
